My life as a 10 year old.

In 1967, I was ten years old. It was the best, but for a lot of people reading this (depending on how old you are), it will appear incredibly bizarre, almost surreal. It was a time missing so many important elements from today’s world, but a great time it was.

For example…..are you ready for this?
  • The Toronto Maple Leafs won The Stanley Cup. (that's right - look it up)
  • Tim Horton was a hockey player.
  • Bobby Orr won his first of 8 consecutive Norris Trophies (wow)
  • Paul and Gary Gait were born (for my lacrosse buddies)
  • Pamela Anderson was born (no comment)
  • Sean Burke and Curtis Joseph were born (good year for goalies)
  • GO Transit was born
  • Expo 67 in Montreal (i went to that)
  • Beatles release Magical Mystery Tour
Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_in_Canada for more fun facts of 1967.

It was a great time to be 10 years old. Life was simple. Life was great.

Next - Technology in 1967
